What's the longest you've seen a coworker get away with doing absolutely nothing?

I first started out many years ago worked with a guy who was my boss who did nothing and if it went wrong it was my fault. So I started keeping detailed reports when I gave him the information he requested with in a couple months they fired him. Found out later he had never taken à vacation in 7years because he he didnt want the company to know he was doing nothing.
