It’s a good place to meet people as you can usually get to know them slowly and very well before taking it further.

Happy LTR relationships may start almost everywhere and I don´t have objections about.
Includding workplace ones, you are right.

What I find sad are "affairs" a word usually asociated with being unloyal in an existing relationship without the decency and/or courage of ending one to develope the other.
And I feel to be sad the frequency of those events also everywhere includding workplaces.

Again I have no conflict with workplace romances between free-to-do-it people.
