Humans have been around for 300,000 years. But we’re still a bit shit when it comes to coping with rain.

And even more shite with snow...At least we are in the UK...other places manage!

We make sure that the roadside drains are cleared ready for the summer so that the dry can quickly drain away. Then they are nicely blocked by autumn so the ducks can swim in the road 😌

Agreed. My brolly constantly bends inside out in a high wind, and I paid a fiver for the last one.

It's especially annoying when the wrong type of wind arrives.
Or when the rain is too wet.

We don't really know humans have been here 300,000 years. So I don't factor that into why we suck at dealing with rain. There is no concrete evidence we have been here 300,000 years. It doesn't even qualify as a theory...it's a hypothesis.
