If women really do get paid less than men for same hours and productivity, why aren’t economists not hiring just women to halve their overheads?

Seems obvious. 💰

Unless it’s not true…

The caste system is beneficial to the capitalist and harmful to the workers. The capitalist doesn't mind if we blame women and blacks, foreigners and the poor.

@Roundandroundwego capitalism makes the one with the risk the one to be rewarded. Workers are typically insulated from risk.
@easterniowegin they're very rich and risking some of their money. They also own the means of production and the way to eat, while not having a job can kill you. It's hardly a risk for them, and it's fascism. Democratic control of the economy should be the law - it probably is.

@Roundandroundwego
A) when they assume the risk, they receive the rewards. There is a reason the casino doesn't award your jackpot to someone who didn't play. Lol
B) the relative value make zero difference. Net worth is a non sequitur.
C) fascism is forcing something, not providing an option, while incentiving with benefits.
@easterniowegin c, The ownership doesn't leave us an alternative economy - we're forced to serve capitalists.

@Roundandroundwego oh, so you can't gather up a bunch of workers, everyone throw in money, and create your own democratic company??
MethDozer · M
@easterniowegin Nonsense. The workers are the ones who are usually sacrificing their sleep, mental health, family affairs, and healt/safety/lives to meet production.

Who runs the machines of spinning cogs? Who is up there on the roof? Who is spraying the toxic chemicals? Who is staying late and working 60 hours a week to meet production and barely scraping by with the pay? Who's standing next the 9,000lbs. Swinging on a crane? Who's crawling down in a giant mud hole? Who's reaching into the epectric panel?

Workers are insulated from the "risks"....🤣

It isn't the owner/investor were his ornamental hardhat and clean boots next to his shiney new car while pointing fingers.

@MethDozer your feelings are getting in the way of facts. You don't understand business or what risk is. Thanks for trying.

@easterniowegin My feelings??? Lol okie dokie.

Working labor involves no risk. The only risks that matter is the all mighty capitalist dollar. Buisiness is far more important than people. Economics is a science and natural force. It is hy no means some invented game. Capitalism is just a natural state.🤣🤣🤣

Oh those nobel and downtrodden capitalist iwner class members. They jusy give and provide so much and get nothing but hate.

Where oh where would we be without them?
