Done a small shop just now.
Laid all my products on the conveyor ready to be scanned, with my shopping bag first. Bread last.
You can guess what happened. 🙄
Bag was placed, all the products were scanned, but not immediately placed in the bag.
So, when it came to the bread which was scanned last, the cashier squashed it through grabbing it too hard, then put it in the bag first and was about to pile everything else on top.
"Stop right there, before we go any further, I will now go and get a fresh loaf of bread because you just squashed that one. While I am gone, you can load the heavy items in the bag first then the rest on top"
I got "The Look"
When I returned with the bread I asked her to be gentle with and hand it to me when scanned thank you.
I mean to say - Some people are simply imbecilic.🙄
