What would you do

Started as a barback for my current employer 3 years ago. Learned how to bartend and has been my occupation for 34 months. Also a full time college student. Fall semester commences in 7 days. Was offered a management position last night. More hours...more money...less fun pourin' drinks ..seriously less free time. Feel like I've been offered the keys to a city. Just not sure I can maintain both. 🤷‍♀️

Does the new position relate to your college goals and degree? That could have some bearing on the decision. How much longer full time college before you get your degree? Once you get that degree is it worth way more in career power than the promotion?? Weigh these questions and see where it focuses you.

@BackyardShaman Not at all. Post grad, developmental psychology. Gotta few more credit hours ahead for the the degree I seek to have an impact on my future. It's that ...right now, more cash flow less struggle thats tempting me.

You’re young and although the combined workload is big, you can handle it, keeping in mind it’s finite. Cash flow yes!!!! Also as a manager you may see more flexibility in the way the employer treats you.@Punxi

@BackyardShaman That finite part...Thank you for that.
