What would you do

Started as a barback for my current employer 3 years ago. Learned how to bartend and has been my occupation for 34 months. Also a full time college student. Fall semester commences in 7 days. Was offered a management position last night. More hours...more money...less fun pourin' drinks ..seriously less free time. Feel like I've been offered the keys to a city. Just not sure I can maintain both. 🤷‍♀️

If you enjoy your current position, it may not be worth changing it

@WaryWitchWandering You bring home a decent wad tending bar...but although I do enjoy it , it's ify'. I live in a city where as it consumes every dollar to survive. Accepting means more stability. Also means an 18 hour a day schedule.

I dunno, sounds exhausting… some people love being busy like that though. It really depends on how you’re looking at it and your mindset going into it. You know better than anyone if it’s something you could handle without becoming overwhelmed or drained
