Sad to see the level of competency in hospitality

I ordered a McMuffin, using 10 coins of varying denominations placed on the counter.
The server stared at the pile for at least 5 seconds, picked up one pile, stared a little longer then proceeded to to look at the obverse and reverse side of each coin, each coin.
Please do not tell me that she was checking that it was Australian currency.
