I don’t know what to say. I’m speechless 😶
Chickie · F
@MrsMiller31218 I'm not surprised the sexually depraved would say something like that
Peaches · F
Yes, such a great cause!🙂 Women ages 40 to 44 should have the choice to start annual breast cancer screening with mammograms (x-rays of the breast) if they wish to do so. Women age 45 to 54 should get mammograms every year. Women 55 and older should switch to mammograms every 2 years, or can continue yearly screening. It's important to know! ⭐️ I have a friend that neglected herself and got breast cancer, her breast had to be removed but at least she did live. 🙏🏼💗🎆

@Peaches Someone very close to me went through the same thing and she’s doing great today. ❤️

@Peaches Great advice! i also think that self-examination regularly is really important too. I found my wife's when she was 31 so way before she would have got screening. Most women do survive if it's found early 💙
Peaches · F
@SW-User Yes, I forgot to mention self examination! 😯☺️Good point.⭐️

Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@SimplyTracie no there's very few treatments and they are for the earlier stages. And after 18 years very little
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F

My ex wife died from it almost a year ago. She'd battled it for nearly 10 years. It's a horrible disease and takes so much.

@samueltyler2 Thank you!
Peaches · F
@SW-User I'm so sorry for your loss. 🙏🏼😞
SW-User
@Peaches I appreciate that :)

We all should. It is amazing how many women have it and will unless a prevention strategy is found!
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@SimplyTracie no, that is not the way to interpret the data. That there is no scientific proof of efficacy doesn't mean to stop doing it, it just means that the data is not enough to satisfy the statistical tests necessary to show it.

@SimplyTracie keep doing self exams, at various times of your period, so you know the natural changes with your period. BTW, it is often a significant other who feels a mass and calls atention to it. So boyfriends count here.

My wife had it over 0 years ago, both breasts removed...no reconstruction...did chemo, has some health issues but no more cancer. Medical science has made some great progress--if caught early enough, most can survive for a long time.
Bluesky52 · 61-69, M
thank you my wife had it,april is she has next mamo,
Bluesky52 · 61-69, M

@SW-User Yes it is Alex. Thank you bringing it up. 😊
SW-User
@SimplyTracie 😄 You're welcome. Last month, I was in this business club at school where students were spreading Domestic Violence Awareness by handing out purple ribbons. I thought it was neat
