@HijabaDabbaDoo So they're mutuals through my mom's bestie Sophy (they met in Ghana) who is is an 84 year old refugee activist who disinherited from her family's posh slavery money and now spends her time doing free legal assistance for asylum claimants and deliberately trying to get arrested at pro-Palestinian protests. Sophy is amazing. Wild life.

Miriam invited them to fancy BBC people parties and my dad had favourite tale of meeting her:
