this is gonna sound a little "out there" but I'm curious about it.

What if the force that determines the handedness of humans (85 to 90% right-handed and 10 to 15% left-handed) is the same force that determines the rotational direction of the Earth and moon.

At one point in my life only about 5% or less of the population was left-handed.
This had to do with the idea that left-handers were in league with the devil, and at times in history they were even put to death as “witches” or “demons”. When I was a child, many of showed evidence of being left-handed were forced to use their right hand instead until that became the dominant hand.
In recent times, that figure has pretty much doubled to about 10% of the population (or possibly even higher).

A lot of these traits tend to work out in perfect squares over large populations (64% can roll their tongue, 36% can’t). 64% of dogs favor the right paw, and 64% of cats favor the left paw.
Had humans been left to natural inclinations, we’d probably see 64% right-handers and 36% left-handers....but because of the persecution/execution of many for being left-handed, it will take a long time to get back to that ratio (possibly never, as there might be a genetic inheritance factor and many of those who might have passed on the left-handed trait were killed).
