I'm so happy I won that Lamborghini

Now I can drive it to my job pushing shopping carts at the local walmart

(Edit. None of this is true!!)

There was a cart-pusher at Walmart who used to live out a different fantasy every single day that he worked. He would tell this fantasy to every worker he stopped to talk to, including me. One time it was that his second job was at night landing planes at the nearby AFB (this guy was about 18 years old). Another time it was about buying a sports car. I asked to see it (challenging him) and he said it was being repainted in a different color. I asked him what color and he says “Dark black”. He apparently didn’t like me interrupting him with so many questions because the third time I did it he stopped coming to me with his outlandish stories. It took me nearly a year to figure out what to do and he was fired a few months later because he wasn’t rounding up carts and there were only a handful on each side, not enough for customer crowds and they had to pull other workers to the parking lot to do it.

@cherokeepatti those are the poeple I'd like to hand with at work. Just to kill the boredom

@caPnAhab He was interfering with my job and was a distraction. He knew what was expected of us and he continued doing it anyway. Sometimes to hang back in the building when it was hot, or cold or windy. Got tired of it.

@cherokeepatti true. Thats when it gets too much. I think it's alright to have fun at work, but not at the expense of your job

Is this a joke on lottery winners? I’m confused

@SW-User Plot twist - it's this:

@SW-User I'm making fun of sports cars using sarcasm

@Elessar oh and the plot thickens

And you can't afford the insurance.

@JimboSaturn oh yeah, that's true too
