I take in around 1400 calories per day

I'm 5'9 and 200+ lbs. I googled how long I should walk each day to lose 2+ lbs per week, and it said 1400 is a "low calorie intake". Oh really? Then pls explain why I'm fat. 😒

Anyway it recommended to walk briskly for 1 hr per day. So I'll start that tomorrow. 🚶🏻‍♀ Hopefully in time I can look like a normal human. I can't look at mirrors anymore .

You have a heart of gold and it is the inside that counts and your inner heart is beautiful! 💛💛💛 The comment you made calling yourself a monster softie and a gentle giant melted my heart like chocolate in a saucepan! 😍😍😍 *BEST OF LUCK* on your walks and I believe in you! 🤗🤗🤗

@DearAmbellina2113 why don't you get a security guard license.. there are so many avenues you could choose

@loulou22 I'm tall but definitely not authoritative. I hate the stereotypes that come with being tall. I'm not athletic or tough. Just a monster softie, a gentle giant.

@DearAmbellina2113 not all security work is like that there are many fields

I would start with 30 minutes each day, it’s easier to maintain and be consistent with… Consistency is key. I use a walking pad for when I don’t have the ability or good weather to walk outside. They are fairly cheap and you can place it right in front of a tv and even watch a movie/show/documentary while you walk.

1400 calories is around the low end of what I should be eating… but I am only 5ft.

@WaryWitchWandering I have a walking pad that I use on days when it's too hot to walk outside. I do 15 mins twice a day (30 total) but I think I need to double that. My weight isn't moving. I'm not gaining but not losing either.

Carbs are what really pack on the weight. Calorie intake is important, but those carbs will get you!

@VisionQuest I do my very best to do low carb and high protein.

Lifting weights is the most efficient way to lose weight. Half an hour each day is better than hours of cardio.

Hey, don't beat yourself up! Try some light weights along with some walking and even very light , leg weights. It will work and you are tall... so you are NOT going to and should NOT be a "pencil" thin person! Take it easy...and enjoy the reduction.

Do step training if you want to burn calories. Also implement cheat days into your diet. Confuse your body. It learns fairly quickly what you're doing and it adapts. That's why staying on the same routine everyday eventually doesn't work.
