I sorry to hear this. I struggled my whole life with weight problems. Nothing worked. Tried all the fad diets, pill ect. Nothing helped. When I was in my late 30s I tried something called Alli. It's where you take a pill before you eat 2 to 3 times a day. It will absorb some fat, nutrients and stuff but it makes go to the bathroom soon after. I lost weight. It was not healthy. I didn't want to depend on it the rest of my life. Jump ahead quite a few years and I had a bf that left me after 2 1/2 years. I couldn't eat and didn't want to. I lost 30 lbs in 2 months, and another 15 in another few months. I was actually excited because I'd never lost this much weight in my life... I'm over him but I have found that the only way to loose weight ( not like I did) was to you burn off more calories than you take in. I eat healthier but I have carbs, sweets meat, basically whatever as long as I'm burning more than I eat. You don't have to exercise but it does help. You might try that. Good luck to you.

diet is the most important part. If you burn off more calories to what you eat in a day, you should start losing weight. The hardest part is the motivation for it. Its not easy losing weight and takes a lot of patience and hard work.
for me when i wanna lose weight, I cut off sugary drinks and junk food and just staying as active as you can through out the day and to give yourself a few days off every weekend perhaps, so your body can recover.
Starving yourself isnt sustainable and will only make you eat more when you start again. I would suggest working out a healthy diet that does not deprive you of food you like.
Make it a lifestyle change and not a diet cause diets are only temporary and most cases people put on weight once they stop.
You will get there soon enough and see what best works for you.
