Do you like the sound of rain on the roof? [I Like The Sound Of Rain On The Roof]

It’s coming down quite hard here, sometimes making an awfully loud racket, but I don’t mind. The various rhythms, the ebbs and flows.
The tapping on the windows.
The rumbling on the roof.
The occasional thunder in the distance.
And then suddenly, a quiet moment.
Just a light pitter patter now, which makes me wonder if this is the denouement.
Or the calm before the storm.
