I woke early this morning to the most beautiful smell of overnight rain. I'd left my windows open overnight & the delicious freshness swirling around my home is intoxicating. I'm in my happy place once more. Bliss 😌

When I saw your title, my first thought was of the skunk perfume we smelled on the first tee of the golf course yesterday. But you are correct, the smell of rain on a hot day is wonderful.
