when she talks about the weather
-I know we shared rain together..
when she reads the morning news
I hear the blues

She became the anchor
on our local TV
and I never got to thank her
for when she anchored me

when I see her 'on location'
I'm glued to the station
-cause I remember when
we once travelled too...

and when she does
'a feel good story':

I get good and sorry
cause we both know
I am just old news
