Light rain this morning

If only I had the time to sit under the umbrella on the patio and spend the morning sipping coffee instead of going in to work

Nice. We had a powerful thunderstorm this morning, two inches of rain, which we need really badly. I would have been soaked sitting on our patio or porch, so I watched through a window.

@crystalkid We may get another five inches tomorrow as a front passes through. It's tropical storm season here on the coast, so it isn't unusual for us to get several inches in a day.

@crystalkid Thanks. We are used to it. As long as it doesn't rain more than 3 or 4 inches an hour, we are okay. During Hurricane Harvey, we got 16 inches in just three hours. Lots of flooding that day.
