It’s Gotten So Windy Here That Power Lines Are Being Blown Down….

on the other side of my city so far. The lights have flickered off and on a couple times though. The power lines are next to the interstate so they are making people who exit get off on one street. Traffic backed up.

On March 8 we had a wind storm. 70 mph winds. It didn't take down the power lines but it did take the roof off of a school.

Well dang Hun I'm sorry .. stay safe and I hope it gets better for you soon

We're getting part of the same storm. But the wind isn't as strong. I expect some interesting things on the morning news.
That happened today where I am. I lost power, but only for about 1½ hours.

That's coming my way tomorrow. 🙏

@4meAndyou We didn’t on this side of the city but it was a mess on the west side around the interstate.

supposed to be that way here by morning

@cherokeepatti wow,i parked my car in middle of the yard away from all trees

@Lilnonames yeah good idea. The last time we had wind this strong I was in Oklahoma City and came home. Left something in my car and walked back out to get it and heard a crack and felt the end of a tree branch brush my back as it fell. If I’d been a few inches closer that way I’d have gotten knocked in the head. And it barely missed my car too.

@cherokeepatti yeah ive had four fall around in the woods, thre others blocked the roads
