What’s the coldest temperature you have ever experienced?

I think it was 1996 or 97. Temperature was around -42 C and it was windy (which is fortunately rare at that kind of temperature. The air is usually too cold to want to move much) Probably around -60C when the wind chill is taken into account.

It was dangerously cold, even though i was fairly well prepared (though i was at work, not dressed for being off in the backcountry) helping people get their cars started to leave work in the evening. Didn’t freeze anything, but it took a long time in a warm bath to stop shivering.
