@Kiesel 3 weeks after our oldest daughter was born we decided to spend Christmas with the Maternal Grandparents. It was -40 when we left on our 3 hour drive. Our little car couldn't put out enough heat to keep the windows frost free so I had to peek out the lower part of the windshield. needless to say we arrived safe and sound. We woke up Christmas morning. It was +5 C (40 F) We went outdoor skating after lunch.

@Kiesel It takes a bit of getting used to but you do adapt. Not too many years ago we were building a steel structure outside in -40 temperatures. We were working with bare hands putting nuts and bolts together.
