So we had a massive windstorm here in the Pacific Northwest last Wednesday December 17th. We have been with out power since Wednesday morning and now it's not estimated to be repaired till Christmas Eve or later. Our grocery stores are critically low...

Oh honey I'm so sorry. I just said a prayer for you all. I wish government would step in. It's a real concern for the poor seniors. For everyone, but it's particularly hard on them with no heat. I wish Red Cross was there. I'll keep you all in my prayers. I hope you all get water soon. God bless all those guys out in the cold trying to get the power back on. I sure pray it's on soon

FEMA was gutted with this administration.

I left Idaho because conservatives didnt want to pay taxes for essential services.

How come people do not have water? Don't the the water treatment and pumping stations have backup generators?

@JoyfulSilence far as I know everyone IN town has water. But anyone who has a well and is not on the city water system doesn't have water unless they have a generator to power the well pump motor.
