I live in Oklahoma. The cold really doesn't bother me to much. I remember one year we got like 10 inches of snow. I just put on like 3 pairs of jeans and 3 of 4 shirts on. I had on a hoodie and a jacket. I went out side and drove the go cart around for a few hours

@smileylovesgaming The wind along with the cold is what bothers me most. It will dry my skin out, especially on my face and hands and lips. The snow on the ground without wind doesn’t bother me. I know people who have moved to Colorado where it’s a lot colder than here in central Oklahoma. They say that it is a different type of cold than Oklahoma has and that they were more comfortable in the winter there.

@cherokeepatti oh I believe it. I remember mom took us to see a uncle that live by the Great lakes. Omg he wanted to take me fishing. I don't remember if he had a jacket on. But me I was freezing

@cherokeepatti It was windy in the blind this morning. 33 on the thermometer, had my little heater going sipping hot chocolate. I can't wait for the 20's to roll in, we need help with the bugs at the farm.

@TexChik yeah and the rattlesnakes can stay in their hidey holes too. I hate that my former neighbor had them breeding in his house.

@cherokeepatti We put indigo snakes and Texas king snakes out here every spring for 10 years. When they finally took off, the rattles and moccasins got pretty scarce. There was a time when you could not drive down a road without seeing several rattlers anywhere on the farm. I have not shot any this year thus far.

@TexChik my grandfather use to tell me he would see rattlers all the time. When I live there I never did see any.

@TexChik that’s good to hear.
