Strange Findings Re: Weather This Morning

We have struggled for a while with the heat and humidity. It suddenly dropped 20F degrees out from mid 90s to 70s. When we got up this morning, the windows showed this go pattern, which seemed odd to me. the glass is double paned and the fog is on the outside:

and on our balcony there were these strange droplets on the table, we did not apply any wax, etc. to it:

Anyone want to give an explanation for the pair of findings?

Congratulations, your double pane windows are woking just fine. The droplets on the table can be anything related to how the table used and what they used it for, when it was really hot outside.

@Northwest it is only us that use it, and we only use it to eat outside. that has not happened much this summer, between the heat and rain. look closely at the windows though, two things strike me, one is that the margins of the windows have no fog, almost like setting the margins on a document to print, nothing close to the edges, also the windows are vertical, so i would expect moisture to trickle down, it did nt.

@samueltyler2 The margin is normal: heat transfer around the edges from the house. There isn't enough moisture to create a drip.

The droplets appearing "equally separated" is also typical for dew formation on a relatively smooth surface. This is because the process of condensation occurs somewhat uniformly across the exposed areas, with individual droplets forming and growing.

This rarely happens in my part of the country, because we don't have constant humidity.

@Northwest thanks. That sounds like a good explanation
