The fickle nature of weather

Yesterday I was sitting at the edge on the Mandurah Estuary. The water was like a pane of glass.
Not a zephyr raising a ripple.
Today the water is agitated, nay, roiling.

Strong westerly winds are bringing in the dark storm clouds.

No meaningful rain has fallen for months. 15mm - 1/2" is forecast.
Sitting on the edge of the Indian Ocean, being buffeted by a most cool wind.
The end of autumn is nigh with winter awaiting it's turn.
Western Australia rarely receives the rain we desperately need.
That is why another desalination plant is about to be built. Supplementing the two already operating.
Oh, a feel a drop of rain...and another...

@Maturebate I think I would have walked away a long time ago.
Given all the warnings about warming and unpredictable rainfalls.
