🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Prayers sent. I have heard that the entire northeast is at risk for fires...even up into upper state New York, and extending into Massachusetts.
It's going to be super hard to train our people to be careful with fires. Californians are trained to be careful, but our people just aren't used to this!!!
@SWUser123987 fire is contained. still have dry and windy conditions but rain is expected later tis week. sent a food truck to the firefighters for 5 days at the worst of it
It's the same where I live. Many wildfires, this is the worst drought here I can remember. The creek that runs at the bottom of my property has been dry since June and there's a tangible feeling of unhealthy to the outdoors.
@saragoodtimes 🙏 Heavenly Father we ask that You please send rain to the Pennsylvania Mountain Ranges to quench the fires that are burning, and to protect the people, their homes and wildlife those regions. In Jesus' Name, we humbly pray, Amen.
I think I'm on the opposite coast from you, but over 40 days here with no rain, wildfires all over the place, but luckily no really huge ones. But we have county-wide air quality warnings thanks to the smoke.
This is what it looks like from NY side - those are not clouds - they are smoke and we can smell it....at one point the whole shoreline was covered and you couldn't see it....Yes, praying for rain.
