I am not quite sure how to post this comment, but for anyone reading this, here's some solid evacuation advice. Have a "go bag " prepared and in a convenient location that you can grab at a moment's notice. They go by various names like go bag, 72 hour bag, bug out bag, etc. You can Google all these for more information. The idea is to have all the necessary items all bagged up to grab when the emergency presents itself.
