Why are weather apps so deceitful?

Happens too often. 1Weather in this case.

The screen icon shows rain.
Open the app and among the normal stuff is a rain/time graphic. Says rain started an hour ago and will end in a half hour.

Now let's go outside together.
NOT A DAMN CLOUD IN THE SKY!
And the apps radar shows the same.

Weather can change quickly. The updating component might be the issue.

@Ynotisay I didn't add the apps radar also showed no rain within many miles.

@Gibbon Maybe a glitch. It happens. I use a local weather source over the phone app. Although there's been a lot of times with the app of "It'll start snowing in 30 minutes" and it does. It's always a crap shoot. Walking outside is usually the best call.
Not sure what you use but with mine they offer the option of letting know if it's accurate. If not, I'll tell them they missed.

@Ynotisay It's in the post. 1Weather.
And it's very easy to report issues from within the app and I have many times. They remind me of Microsoft constantly adding new bells and whistles you don't need until it's nothing but over bloated.
