SIXTY ONE degrees Fahrenheit today in Plymouth, Massachusetts!!! WTH?? Normally, it's around 35F this time of year.

@4meAndyou I have been thinking about the battery powered ones. Not sure the charge is long enough. Maybe next year.

@Confined Just buy two batteries, and keep them charged if snow is on the way.

@4meAndyou It’s because of our location. The cold fronts can be from going over the mountains of Colorado chilling the air even more, or straight down from Canada (Arctic) cold fronts or Siberian blasts. Then after it’s over we may get southern breezes from the Gulf of Mexico, the air gets damp from the Gulf air and warms up and then a cold front blasts down and freezes that moisture and adds to the freezing rain.

@cherokeepatti Wow!!! Talk about a cornucopia of weather! You get blasted from [i]everywhere[/i].

Where I live, we usually get the Atlantic Stream weather, and if there are winds we get whatever is happening in Florida and North Carolina...eventually.

@4meAndyou This is one reason we have so many tornadoes. but probably not the only reason.

@Confined It's still so warm here. I am awake in the middle of the night because it's too hot in my bedroom. The wind is coming up and I can feel a faint chill in the air with the slider open.

@nedkelly I would have been sweating bullets. Is that humid or dry heat? Makes a difference.

@nedkelly It's humid here all the time. We are an area of swamps and ponds and lakes. In the summer, it's almost constantly miserable.

@AlchemyFox 😢 They will all be killed when the temps return to normal next week.
