Unusual cold spell on weather frozen pipes possible

I live in south Mississippi we're experiencing a bad cold spell. This is unusual for the area. Its currently 24° outside. Our trmps are usually 50s to 60s high... upoer 30s low...
We forgot to let fausets drip....I got ip early this morning and realized theres no hot water! Arrg
Were letting it drip now from hot water.
I suppose were going to be trying to defrost the pipe later .....
Arg what else to do?

hopefully there is enough room in the pipes with the faucets all open, to allow expansion of the pipes without cracking, remember the toilets could also be a problem. good luck. With global climate change, these events are occurring more often. there are pipe wraps to install, better do it after the stores reopen, to prepare for the next event.
