Can a hurricane get more powerful than level 5?
As I understand U.S meteorology,level 5 is the top end most powerful hurricane there can be.Is it possible,even if only in theory,that one can be even more powerful ?

Sure they can. Same as tornadoes. The scale is based on whats been previously experienced. We havnt been keeping track of hurricanes and typhoons for long enough to have the slightest clue on whats really capable of happening
