And stop tellingme that 85º and 90% humidity is "a beautiful day".
@ChipmunkErnie maybe they are from Florida

@ChipmunkErnie Yeah that kind of weather might LOOK nice staring out the window of an air conditioned room but to be out in it - forget it.

Yea they pull this crap here where they say, severe storms, possibility of tornadoes, then like an hour later comes this emergency alert where everyone's phone at work starts going off with a tornado warning, but no sign or activity of a tornado.
They do it to get people all worked up. Not quite sure why weather forecasters are making false weather statements to get people scared, but it's bullshit.

@twiigss When they do that in the winter, like "Here comes a blizzard!" and then... nothing.
I have a theory that the grocers are in on that stunt.
BECAUSE people go out and panic buy groceries. One might say "But won't people just buy less in the near future?" and you would think BUT - we all know when we have excess, we tend to go through it faster anyways.
Maybe they do that crap for the same reason in other seasons with "Oh another tornado!" and then nothing. Although people do not panic buy stuff because of a stupid tornado.

@CestManan Oh yea, like the grocers have stock they gotta get rid of, what better way than to have the weather forecasters claim a 20' blizzard is coming!! No, I totally agree with you on that one.
Then, all we get is 3" of snow, and everyone who panic bought is sitting on enough bread and milk to make french toast for the next 3 months.

{@spitterwoman21] can understand your sentiment 😝but unless they have a crystal ball and can see into the future they can only go on what technology available to them

@DIABLISS as i say they can only go on what information they have and it is inaccurate as much as you suggest😝 you need too look out of your window when you get out of bed and make up your own mind what the weather will do and plan your day ahead from there 😝😝😝

@DIABLISS Not sure where you live but my local forecasts are incredibly accurate. And it's a place with dynamic weather a good portion of the year. I'm amazed at far weather technology has come. But it's weather. It's impossible to be 100% correct given the area ranges most forecasts predict.

Forecasters get it wrong sometimes but they are pretty accurate over a 2 to 3 day period. Weather forecasting is also improving all the time, but as you note, it is not perfect.

But they are right on about 50% of times!
