The Weather 🥵
For the upcoming days over here:
32°C (89,6°F) - Today
33°C (91,4°F) - Friday
33°C (91,4°F) - Saturday
34°C (93,2°F) - Sunday
31°C (87,8°F) - Monday
... When it got to 30°C (86°F), it used to be a "hot day" over here in Belgium. People used to go on vacation in the south for these kinds of temperatures. Belgians are known to move to Italy and Spain, but you can bake just as well out here right now. And people, like myself that dislike warm weather, are pretty fed up by now.
And in the last 6 years, we'll have 5 years that we are hitting records when it comes to drought. This year, we are going to break our all time record that was set in 1976, since we started measuring.
Certain trees are already shedding their leaves as if it's autumn, just so they can protect themselves. A percentage of the fruit that should be picked in september and october are showing signs of sunburn. And it's not looking good for the vegies either. ... So yeah, wonder what the consequences are going to be once that harvest start.
... but what is happening, isn't within the parameters we would call "normal" out here.
