UK heatwave - 40 degrees

It is 'only' 31 degrees here today and I am wilting... just turning in to a puddle on my sofa 🥵

It is hitting 40 tomorrow, I have already told work they will not see me in the office until Wednesday.

I am looking forward to trying some of the cool-down tips that I've seen though!

Last year we got stuck in a heat dome with 40+ temps. Some areas went up to 50c, but this year it is the coldest Summer anyone can remember, and raining all the time. Naturally we bought an A/C this year, and hardly even turned it on.
