UK heatwave - 40 degrees

It is 'only' 31 degrees here today and I am wilting... just turning in to a puddle on my sofa 🥵

It is hitting 40 tomorrow, I have already told work they will not see me in the office until Wednesday.

I am looking forward to trying some of the cool-down tips that I've seen though!

We've been getting highs of 34 and sometimes 35 here. I can't imagine 40.

@PhoenixPhail It's only the next two days, and very uncommon thankfully. Up to about 34-35 is still very hot, but basically manageable

@Fluffybull It's 32 here right now, headed to 34. Then, 37 on Thursday.
A couple of days, it was 38.

@Fluffybull IKR? There's a really pretty place I love to go walking for exercise and to be in nature. But when it gets above 32° or 33°, I stay inside, especially if it's humid. 🥵
