UK heatwave - 40 degrees

It is 'only' 31 degrees here today and I am wilting... just turning in to a puddle on my sofa 馃サ

It is hitting 40 tomorrow, I have already told work they will not see me in the office until Wednesday.

I am looking forward to trying some of the cool-down tips that I've seen though!

@Lilymoon Our heat doesn't generally get too bad and our houses and infrastructure are mostly so old that they don't really accomodate ac. My office has it but the journey in to work would be like literal hell 馃槺

@helsbels you can install window unit. It's less expensive and fits in older house. I have window unit in my apartment room. Works well
