Depends where in Ontario, Northern part, it can dip below 20C in the evenings and night in late August, central and southern Ontario, it seldom goes below 20-25C even at night and can get very hot and humid nearer the lakes, 35C+. You'll be fine with a light, single layer jacket, make it a waterproof one in case it rains 😊

@spjennifer Southeastern Ontario (Toronto & Ottawa).. So it is probably a bit warm.. Also plan a few days in Quebec, but no idea if it is usually colder or warmer than Ontario over there.

@BittersweetPotato Just a light jacket in case it gets windy or rains then, you'll be fine. Quebec's weather is similar, Montreal and Quebec City can be hot and humid too and a little cooler at night most of the time.

@BittersweetPotato YW, honestly, I would wait till you arrive and then just buy a cheap $20-30 jacket at a Walmart for the use you'll get out of it, less hassle that way 😃
