Yesterday saw the heaviest Rain in Perth since I have been here [I Love the Weather]

At 2pm a 30 minute downpour flooded so much of Perth.
We may have only received 30 mm, 1 1/4 inches but most of that fell in the 20 minute span.
Some suburbs got 45 mm.
The drive home saw me having to drive through deep water at some spots.

an interesting random fact... 🤔
According to the World Meteorological Organization, the greatest rainfall in one minute reliably recorded to date is 31.2 millimetres (1.23 inches), measured with a rain gauge in Unionville, Maryland, USA, on 4 July 1956.
