I Prefer Warm Weather To Cool Weather

I don’t like cold weather, especially when it is windy like every day here. And when it is snowing and raining and it comes straight at you because of the wind. I am going to get a job in the Med when I leave school. South of France perhaps. Shame about Brexit. My oyster is closing,

I wasn’t talking about real oysters. They make me sick. I’m allergic to anything that lives in a shell. It was an expression. The world’s my oyster. It means go anywhere, do anything. Except we can’t now. We are Britain. Island fortress. We may not even be welcome in Trumpia. @Hasmita

I know the expression.
I also remember going to France before we joined the EEC and it was the UK that imposed conditions like we were limited in how much money could leave the UK and it had to be declared and written in your passport!
