Emotionless Dad Found Guilty in Son's School Shooting Case

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Slh2EZxfadA]

In less than two hours, a jury found Colin Gray guilty in relation to his son's alleged school shooting massacre. The prosecution said that Gray provided the gun that his son, Colt Gray, allegedly used in the tragedy. Colin's face appeared blank as the guilty verdicts were read.

My comments:

This was painful to watch. Not because I have any sympathy at all for Colin Gray—he allowed that gun (and others) into his home. He did not properly secure the weapon. He did not properly supervise his son.

Parents who buy weapons (whether with the intention of buying them for underage children or not), IMHO, assume the responsibility for those weapons.

What’s your opinion? AFAIK, this is the first such case to come to trial since James & Jennifer Crumbley were convicted under more or less similar circumstances.

I agree with you. It’s definitely about parenting, and they should be held accountable.

I would have voted "Guilty" on the specific gun charges but "Not Guilty" on the murder charges. The son did the murders, not the dad.

Your comments seem sound to me.

Parents raise the children so bear some responsibility, to what degree is debatable.

@LordShadowfire Personally, I don’t care what emotions or numbness he may feel.

I hope that he has the book thrown at him because maybe it will wake some of these gun nuts up…

And if a brutal sentence for him stops just one school shooting, then GOOD! Because leniency won’t do a bit of good.
