@Ben1000 we use metacritic and it has mixed reviews so my husband would just wait until they put it on discount or free on playstation plus 🤣

I want to SO BAD

@DearAmbellina2113 Do it, just make sure you’ve got a spare couple of hundred hours to play it.

How are the controls? I heard they’re clunky at the start but you get used to em after about 10 hours. Is this true?
Ben1000 · 41-45, M
@ManOfSteel They’re probably the worst part about the game and definitely could be better. Some of the buttons do to many actions and the controls don’t always feel intuitive. They haven’t bothered or slowed me down that much though.

I've seen it advertised and it looks pretty cool. Anything comparable to it that you've played before? Witcher perhaps?
Ben1000 · 41-45, M
@SpectralMourning It reminds me of Elden Ring as you can pretty much go wherever you want on the map and find cool stuff (it’s not linear at all) but the boss fights are a lot easier. I would recommend it, the world they’ve created is fantastic, hats off to the developers.

@Ben1000 Nice I'll have to give it a try sometime. To the backlog it goes.

Iv havent played it but iv heard mixed things. Iv heard the combat and exploration is good the quests are boring and repetitive. They just stole mechanics from other games and slapped it together?

Crimson Desert feels like it was designed in a lab by someone who wanted to combine elements of all their favorite big budget open-world games into the ultimate video game.
I'd rate it 6/10

@CreyvinMoorhead I’m really enjoying so far, good boss fights, great world to explore, beautiful graphics. 8/10 so far
