First I want to say I saw a short of a man saying than he thinks gamers are becoming the most hated group of people on the planet. He said it is frowned apon to hate against a a woman living a lifestyle pretending to be a dog. However, people are encouraged to hate gamers.

So, my first question is, gamers do you feel you are hated an discriminated against?

Second, any non-gamers out there roaming Similar Worlds, do you hate gamers if so why?

Third, gamers are you the most hated group of all time?

Fourth, has anyone here been encouraged to hate and discriminate against gamers? If so why?

I'm a gamer. The only people who have ever really been judgemental about it have been my parents, but I think it's because they didn't really grow up with videogames so they don't understand them. They don't get they are these complex productions with story lines and characters and missions and whatever else. Other than that no one has ever judged me or said anything about it.

No gamers aren't the most hated group of all time. That is hilarious and very tone deaf to the struggles of countless actually oppressed, hated and mistreated peoples out there. No one is trying to commit genocide against the gamers.

If there was any encouragement to hate on gamers it probably came from popular media, portraying videogames and people who played them as being dorky/ugly/socially challenged, etc. So I definitely agree with you gamers are discriminated against and it is a hobby that is looked down on by some. But no we are not the most hated group 😂

Only types of games I don't like are professional games, including professional sports.

All the rest I have not a thing against them.

Yes, there are professional gamers, just like professional sports.

BTW I'm not half bad at some games. Some might say I'm very good.

@Greyjedi I don't believe it's right to get paid that much to entertain or be entertained.

Yes, I put movie Stars in the same category.

Yet with sports you must include being barbaric, while entertaining the masses.

The key here is being paid for entertainment! It's counter productive to society.

Entertainment is fine. Yet society can do very well without making the entertainers millionaires or even billionaires.

You force a class structure on society by doing so. See India's cast system! It's ugly!

I do not hate gamers. If i dislike someone it's because their actions.like streamers promoting gambling for kids....just to cash on insane amount of money.spineless
Or the misogyny in some of them...
That dog girl is simply about fetish/kink.she uses it to get men's attention for money (i do not think it's bad to hate/dislike her and her actions)
