As in wasted from not saving, or as in how much you've played? My save game tells me I've played 40, steam tells me I've played 50 from all the times I had load back.

@pancakeslam I still have the original CDs for Baldurs gate 2, it works fine with win 10 but the fights aren't turn based so I'm having an insanely almost impossible time trying to fight monsters.

@twiigss yeah I know what you mean. the fighting is kind of inefficient. to have any chance of winning I have to pause it over and over while I direct the next round of spells and actions. then keep a close eye on everything and pause it continually to repeat that strategy and beat the shit out of the insanely difficult NPCs. I stopped playing a few months ago because it's such a cluster fuck.
just make sure you have all your spell triggers prepared ahead. have the cleric ready to heal ahead of time. eventually you get mass resurrect making it easier. have you thief get good at hiding and stealing so you can get a buttload of spell scrolls for free
