There's something about the atmosphere that just pulls me in. It's so dark and mysterious, with this blend of Lovecraftian cosmic horror and gothic architecture. And the combat system is brutal but rewarding, and reminds me of the precision required in ballet.
I also like the whole Victorian era aesthetic, as well as the unique lore and storytelling style where you have to piece things together through environmental clues. And the soundtrack? So hauntingly beautiful.

@Bboystatic Definitely try it...I wasn't expecting it to be as good with all the hype. But I think it lived up to it.
@SpectralMourning I hope so too! And it was most definitely a labor of love. They put their heart and soul into that game.
Once Human hands down. There are many old faves but these days it's that one. Some friends talked me into it and I got hooked. In terms of updates, replayability, content, and user friendliness it has it for me. There aren't many games I like that much.
