What is your favorite video game? And why?

Bloodborne

There's something about the atmosphere that just pulls me in. It's so dark and mysterious, with this blend of Lovecraftian cosmic horror and gothic architecture. And the combat system is brutal but rewarding, and reminds me of the precision required in ballet.

I also like the whole Victorian era aesthetic, as well as the unique lore and storytelling style where you have to piece things together through environmental clues. And the soundtrack? So hauntingly beautiful.

Hogwarts legacy because magic of course

Chrono Trigger, it reminds me of all the great times gaming in SNES, and the game was so far ahead of its time. I still play it at least once a year.

Bit of a modern day pick for me but Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Gameplay, story, visuals, music.....it excelled in all of the areas that I look for in a game. Been a long time since I had enjoyed a game as much as I did this one.

Once Human hands down. There are many old faves but these days it's that one. Some friends talked me into it and I got hooked. In terms of updates, replayability, content, and user friendliness it has it for me. There aren't many games I like that much.

The Legend of Zelda. I don't know why I like it. It's just fun.

Borderlands 2 and Assassins Creed Origins

Mario kart, in all its forms. It’s just so fun.

ESPN NFL 2K5 for ps2 and Xbox. It's really hard to play even on easy mode. It's more funner

It was one of the first games i remember beating and just played it a bunch of times since i was a kid i still can just put it on and get lost in the world

Alien Isolation. It's thrilling, scary and tense.
