In red dead redemption, the in-game newspaper talking about the ghost town of Tumbleweed being haunted, I originally thought of the church and cemetery but nope, pretty quiet, of course this was all after I cleared the town of the bandits.
I checked online, sure enough the only place haunted is the mansion on the hill, so I waited in there, during the day, no creaking door or footsteps, but at there are, even Erie green glow.
I didn't adventure to much more it was getting late and I headed back to the main town in the area and saved my game.
Second Game I've played about a haunted mansion, the first game included a small chain quest, and it becomes a player home in the end.
