Garbage trucks

Do garbage trucks destroy the trash?
Matt85 · 36-40, M
They compress it, still trash is an ecological pain in the butt.
originnone · 61-69, M
not the trucks...they typically lightly compact it.
If they did... Then we wouldn't need incinerators or landfill.

All the garbage truck is is a mobile trash compactor. They collect the refuge, compact it to fit more waste into the limited space they have, then they deliver it to the recycling centre, incinerator or landfill.

Regular sanitation doesn’t “destroy” any trash
The trucks only compact it. Then all trucks dump at the landfill and then it’s compacted more and buried and blended in the earth. Layer by layer

well believe it or not, i went to the open house of our garbage collector. pretty cool operation. the trucks dump it. these big arms grab it and incinerate it. they collect the steam and reuse that.

No they compact it when it gets to the dump they put some kind of industrial acid on it and run it over with bulldozers to push it down
Dolimyte · 41-45, M
No, they are just mobile portal generators. The trash travels via wormhole to a landfill or incinerator.
Not in my community. As far as I know, garbage is hauled to a local landfill.

I don't know. All I know is that where Trash goes. Trash panda goes.

Nothing destroys trash. It just keeps piling up. But go ahead and throw it away. We've got an infinite supply of planets to ruin.
