Flying (air travel) already is something only for the privileged, so what's new?

Airlines are claiming that 'net zero mandates' around so-called 'SAF' will push the costs of aviation much higher and price air travel so only the elite/executive class can afford it.

Here in Oz that's already the case 8-)

The universal declaration of human rights includes travel as a universal right. The French used to say something like "beneath the pavement, the beach"- meaning we all need leisure. The socialists lost and the rich own the world. Sorry there's no way to go back and start socialism again! The murkans will nuke us all to prevent that!

@whowasthatmaskedman the rights don't need to be enforced, just believed in, to be commonly respected. The poles in politics align with human rights at one end, and war on the right. That's why Americans fear the left so much - we understand why peace is always the law, and why enforcement can't bring peace, but socialism will.

@whowasthatmaskedman there's a leftist and socialist West that tried to unite the region in Europe and had plans to build a bridge to Africa. That's over too, now, since the brutal conservative philosophy killed socialism and won the West.
