If you were to redesign childbirth away from a vaginal delivery, how would you design it?

I'm in favour of the external growth method. Maybe somewhere on the back of the mother...like a embryonic papoose.

Csection delivery but with proper aftercare and support and a plastic surgeon to help sew up and fix muscles before it's all tucked back in.

@KiwiDan So we'd end up as marsupials? Where would the pouch go after our cute little joey baby comes out? or do we just keep a pouch flap for life or until the baby is a certain age and redevelop it when we get pregnant again? Wow.. i got deeper in this than i thought :o i damn near turned this into a weird video game.

completely external to and separate from any human host body, like the "decanting" scheme in Brave New World (and everyone is essentially sterilized so there are never accidental pregnancies, sex isn't for procreation anymore thereafter)
