@DogMan i hate chinese vehicles
DogMan · 61-69, M
@RachelLia2003 I used to also, but the reviews by professional riders have made me a fan of
this bike.
CF Moto is one of the biggest Chinese motorcycle manufactures. They have been making quads
and side by sides for many years.

DogMan · 61-69, M
@Birdbox1986 It's classified as an adventure motorcycle, or ADV, but it is more
like a Dual sport.

@DogMan probably will be a little to fast
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Birdbox1986 Yes, at 45 HP it should move along nicely. But they say the power delivery is smooth.
Not abrupt like some others, They call it Linear.

nah it sounds great. just make sure you check it for a bug from the CCP.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@SirLirkALot I have thought about that with all CCP motor vehicles. Thinking that someday they
could flick a switch and shut them all down.

I have a decently fair amount of experience with Chinese made and cloned machines/motors. They are a mixed bag like anything. They have gotten a lot better in recent years than the past.
Generally you can expect or want to pay attention to a few things. The tires and brakes tend to be lower quality. Useable and servicable but dont expect the same milage our of them as you would other manufacturers. One thing you always want to do is go through the engine and everything else with a torque wrench and make sure everything is tightened down correctly and thread lock parts. They tend to be sloppily assembled. You also want to check gaskets. Another big thing is checking the exhaust and intakes for any metal casting flash and clean it up if you notice any little pieces of casting flash that is waiting to break off. They also tend to assmemble engines righr off the mill without cleaning all rhe filings. Flushing the crabkcase and doing a couple low hour oil changes is a must. In my experience anyway.
They usually arent bad and have a big bang for the buck, but they almost always need a little TLC and inspection before running them if you want them to last.

@MethDozer Thanks. good info.
I will throw a torque wrench on it. I'm figuring new tires after the 600-mile break in.
I have also heard that people replace bolts as they use really cheap ones.
The feature list on this thing is incredible. They are saying easily the best bang for the buck.
It will get some good Utah off-road use.

It's a lot of bike for 7k... Be safe
Justafantasy · M
Looking at the exhaust is it a 450 twin?
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Justafantasy Yes it is a twin. Much less vibration than the big single cylinder thumpers
I'm used to. It has a 270 degree crank that helps low end torque and makes it sound like
a throaty V-twin.

Understandable.
That's a lot to invest in something you can't ride out the showroom with.
Is it being delivered to a dealer or coming directly to you ?
If it's coming directly to you, do you have a returns policy from the supplier ?

@Picklebobble2 It's going to my local dealer. I have been watching reviews and comparisons for
the last 2 years since it came out, and it has had zero negative comments. It has ranked #1 or #2
against similar adventure motorcycles. You Tube guys have beat the hell out of them and could not
break them. 🤞
